Customs Coordinator

A well-established freight forwarder based in Eastleigh is looking to recruit a Customs Coordinator to join their friendly & expanding team. If you have previous Customs experience and looking to join an innovative, forwarding thinking company, then this could be the perfect role for you.

The Role:

Working within a team, you will be responsible for completing import & export Customs entries managing compliance and advising of Duty rates etc…
You will be responsible for providing great customer service, ensuring cargo is cleared in a timely fashion, and to keep clients fully updated on the progress of their shipments. Plus other duties when required

Essential Criteria:

• Experience of imports and exports
• Customs entry knowledge
• Communication skills
• Problem solving ability

Salary & Benefits:

For this position, our client is looking to pay between £20k – £25k for the right person, plus there is a hybrid working option once the successful candidate has completed their probation period
