Do you have solid sea & road freight forwarding experience? Perhaps a team leader or a senior forwarder looking to move into a supervisory role?
This role will report to the Operations Director, where you have full responsibility of the day-to-day running of the branch, workload of a team of around 10 forwarders, full branch P+L & growing / maintaining customer relationships.
The Role:
You will be responsible for supervising staff, dealing & resolving any client issues, whilst ensuring great customer service is delivered at all times.
Your will be key in developing & mentoring staff and be the go-to person for most matters.
You’ll also be hands on during busy periods, working with & mentoring your team, providing a great relaxed, yet professional working environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous freight forwarding experience
- Previous supervisory / managerial experience
- Customs procedures
- Key account management
- Good IT knowledge
