Our client is a leading specialist freight forwarder that are looking to recruit an Ocean Export Freight Forwarder to join their forwarding team, based in Eastleigh. The Role:
As an Export Sea Freight Forwarder you will be part of the freight forwarding team, responsible for managing shipments from start to finish including:

  • Receive and process shipment bookings
  • LCL, FCL, RoRo & Out of Gauge,
  • Arrange collections with UK haulier
  • Book shipments with carriers & lines, negotiating rates and ensuring a healthy margin.
  • Ensure the goods are Customs cleared
  • Handling & processing shipping documentation
  • Invoice the job and closing the file
  • Above provide an exception level of customer service

Customs Coordinator

A well-established freight forwarder based in Eastleigh is looking to recruit a Customs Coordinator to join their friendly & expanding team. If you have previous Customs experience and looking to join an innovative, forwarding thinking company, then this could be the perfect role for you.

The Role:

Working within a team, you will be responsible for completing import & export Customs entries managing compliance and advising of Duty rates etc…
You will be responsible for providing great customer service, ensuring cargo is cleared in a timely fashion, and to keep clients fully updated on the progress of their shipments. Plus other duties when required

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience of imports and exports
  • Customs entry knowledge
  • Communication skills
  • Problem solving ability
